1978 C3 Stingray Coupe
The Corvette, first produced by Chevrolet in 1953, is now in its sixth generation of production and is known as a C6 Corvette. The car shown here is a C3. The C3 model was made from 1968 to 1982.

The fastback glass rear window was introduced in 1978, the 25th "silver" anniversary of the Corvette. Note the recessed tail lights and silver emblem on the fuel door.
